Template Specifications
Once you have elected to modify Sessions using this Bulk Upload type, you will have access to download the Sessions Template. Once the Sessions option has been chosen, a list of available actions connected to this workflow will become visible in the table below.
Take note of the actions available as you populate the template to process these changes.
The Template Specifications table, visible on the second half of this page, is also important to review. This table confirms the types of updates that can be made, the column descriptions, and whether the columns are required for the respective updates.
Populating the Template
The excel will be formatted to account for a session per row, along with columns representing all fields that could be populated for a session.
As you populate this template, take note of the following tabs embedded within the excel file:
- Field of Study selections available
- Delivery method options available
- Timezone choices available
- Content Type choices available
- Rulesets available as defined by your organization
- Integrated Providers available based on configurations defined by your organization
Please note the following:
Timezones: When making any updates to a session’s timezone, it is essential to include the correlating start/end date time for that new timezone on the template to make that change correctly through the upload tool.
Waitlists: When utilizing the Enrollment min and max selections, the waitlist type will default to the setting specified within your firm’s organization settings menu. With the initial release, the ability to change the waitlist type will not be available through the upload tool.
Available Actions
- Add New: Use this action if you are solely creating new sessions
- Update Existing: Use this action if you are only looking to modify the information for existing sessions
- Add new and update existing: Use this action if you are looking to simultaneously create new sessions and modify existing sessions
Note: When modifying session records, administrators will get the opportunity to decide whether the modifications included on the template should trigger a reapply of these changes to all session records. By default, this toggle is set to not reapply.
